Porsche 964 Targa Madster Backdate RHD

An English customer approached us to build a Madster, our own in-house designed 964 Backdate. He wanted a right-hand drive, manual Carrera 2 Madster Targa.
Unfortunately we could not find a suitable donor car, so we bought a 964 Cabriolet from Scotland and converted it to a Targa, which is possible because the bodies of the two cars are the same.
First we stripped the car and had it water-blasted, then carried out the Targa conversion. After that the car was rebuilt completely to our own Madster design. For the rest, we personalised the car as far as possible to the customer’s wishes, including extra rear seats so the children can come along. The car now drives in England with a very satisfied owner!
